Breakfast with Mom Podcasters (and moms who love podcasts!)

There are unique challenges that parents deal with – especially if they have small children – while trying to launch a podcast and grow a following. I know this from personal experience, I’m a work-at-home dad with a 2.5-year-old and seven-month-old. I’ve been hosting a podcast for two years and I’m working on a second show that is about parents who invent a product to solve a problem they experienced as parents.

Join us for a chance to meet fellow participants before the conference officially kicks off!

(I’m hosting two meetups – one for dads and one for moms – because I couldn’t get a space large enough to host everyone at the same time and I really want to meet moms and dads at my first Podcast Movement.)

Details for this gathering will be sent to you after you complete and submit this form at the link below.

Everyone pays for their own meal.

Christie Wheeler – Underwhelmed

In the Summer of 2017, best friends and sorority sisters, Christie Wheeler and Nicole Kokinos, decided to start a podcast centered around the ridiculousness and hilarity that has ensued during their everyday lives working in mediocre jobs (Recruiter and Teacher accordingly) in the mediocre cities of Richmond, VA and Baltimore, MD. They decided to name this masterpiece Underwhelmed.

One half of the self proclaimed dynamic duo, Christie, is also a mom to the highly energetic, funny, and most adorable toddler in all the land, Madeline. Madeline recently made her podcast debut during Episode 29, however, she didn’t have much to say at the time.

Aside from being a cool mom while hanging out with Madeline, Christie also enjoys spending time with her husband, Kevin, and dog, Galileo. When she can find time she enjoys exercising and cooking, and she loves watching Dateline, comedy specials, and anything Bravo. I guess you could just call her Basic.

Although being a full time working mom and podcaster can be exhausting at times, Christie wouldn’t change it for the world. She has loved every moment of her podcast journey and all the extra time she has gotten to spend with Nicole while they work on their “craft”.
