Our Mission?

Simply put, the goal of Podcast Movement is to bring together and educate active and aspiring podcasters, and to grow the podcast community and industry as a whole. We do this through educational and informative breakout sessions and panels spread across six tracks, enlightening and encouraging keynote presentations, and fun networking events and parties. With over 3,000 attendees joining us over the last five years from nearly 30 different countries (and growing), we are excited to continue the mission of Podcast Movement for many years to come.

Who is Podcast Movement For?

We've taken special care to format the conference in a way that there will be three full days worth of sessions and activities that directly benefit anyone currently involved with, or looking to get into, podcasting and the podcast industry. With over 300 speakers and panelists participating in over 100 different sessions for you to pick from, we work hard to make sure there will be something for you at Podcast Movement.

Active & Aspiring Podcasters

We’re excited to feature sessions specifically focused on getting you started the RIGHT way. From basic technical sessions regarding equipment, software, and editing, to learning the best way to craft a story, we have you covered. If you're experienced, we know even the greats recognize things they need to improve on, so we’re bringing in the best podcasters and industry professionals to help you take things up a notch. Whether you’re looking to refine your production, or looking for new ways to monetize, we’ll have dozens of sessions for you!

Industry Professionals

The Podcast Movement evolution will be most apparent on our industry track. This year we are excited to feature a large selection of sessions and panels geared towards “behind the scenes teams” and industry professionals. The most successful networks, ad sellers and buyers, statistic providers, and everything in between will be sharing what has been working (and what hasn’t) in the past year, and what they are doing for the future. We’ve put a lot of focus on this, and it’s going to rock!

Exhibition Hall

This year’s hall will feature podcast specific software, hardware and technology companies that will be applicable to everyone at the event. If they are relevant in the space, you’ll most likely find them here all week!

What can you expect?

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in their choice of over 80 breakout sessions and panels, including the Technical Track, Creations Track, Marketing Track, Industry Track, and more!

There are no longer any refunds or transfers for passes to Podcast Movement 2018. If you purchased a pass that includes a virtual ticket, you will have access to the virtual sessions, whether or not you use your in-person pass. All attendees must show photo ID matching name registered with at check-in. There are no PM18 pass refunds. We do offer name changes / transfers of passes up to 60 days out from the event, for a small $50 transfer fee. To transfer your registration, please email [email protected]

Podcast Movement will offer complimentary coffee, water, and tea throughout the event for all attendees. For lunch, each day there will be ample break throughout the day to visit the various dining establishments at the Marriott, as well as visit the great restaurants throughout Downtown Philly (don't miss the Reading Terminal across the street). Also, Pro Pass holders will have access to sodas, other drink options, and both morning and afternoon snacks throughout the three days of the event.
New speakers are being added to the lineup each week, and we’ll feature over 200 different podcasters and podcast industry professionals on our various tracks.
A complete schedule will be released about a month before the event.
The conference and all networking events are unofficially business casual. We also have parties every evening that will have different settings and tones, none of them have required dress codes. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes since the conference may have you standing and walking often throughout the day, and to some offsite events.
